OUR MANAGEMENT

After graduation from Scripps College in Claremont CA, Suzanne Dondanville began her career in banking in 1984 with Security Pacific Bank. In 1991 Ms. Dondanville left “big banking” to continue her career in the community banking arena, where she could continue to build on her diversified set of skills specifically, strategic vision, leadership, operations efficiency, technology, human resources management, compliance and customer service enhancement strategies.

Prior to joining American Business Bank in December 2013, Ms. Dondanville was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of The Private Bank of California in Century City CA, and with Professional Business Bank in Pasadena, as the Director of Enterprise Management. There she honed her project and technology management skills, responsible Enterprise Risk Management, and Bank Merger and System Conversion initiatives.

Prior to those assignments, she was with Community Bank, a $2.5B business bank in Pasadena as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company with 143 indirect reports. Before that she was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at 1st Centennial Bank in Redlands, a $900M business bank for nine years, and briefly as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer at the request of the Board of Directors.

Ms. Dondanville received her undergraduate degree from Scripps College, Claremont CA with a dual major in Business Administration and Arts Management. Her studies included French and Art History at the University of Paris, Sorbonne, and accounting and economics coursework at Pomona College, Claremont CA.
